Solution Architect - Enterprise Analytics (f/m/d)

Your area of work:
Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group oversees end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, Control & Corporate Processes, as well as Deutsche Börse Group’s Reference Data Platform. We also develop and operate our Enterprise Analytics Solutions and the Digital Boardroom which are the core of sharing and measuring our group’s success.

As member of the Enterprise Analytics Team, you must be an experienced and inspiring specialist in the dimensions of technology and analytics with first proven record in strategic or operational execution. You are a role model in a team of junior and senior talents with diversity in experience, background, and locations. Translating business (processes) into numbers and KPIs, fully digital and automated, must be your DNA. You must embrace transparency and simple access to data in an SAP and non-SAP environment to help DBG Group to take decisions faster based on reliable data. The perfect candidate for this role will have a “can do” positive attitude.

Your responsibilities:

• Conception and implementation of innovative data analytics solutions and projects for our business partners on the Enterprise Analytics & Reporting platforms (Cloud & On-Premises).
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to analyse, define, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the Business Intelligence & Analytics area. 
• Develop overall solution plans and strategic vision for data, business warehouse and analytics solutions, providing a comprehensive roadmap for user needs.
• You will help translating business strategy into information strategy with a focus on Reporting & advanced analytics.
• Design thinking and solution designing is your daily practice and integral part of your solution driven can-do attitude.
• Build, strengthen and maintain a close relationship to our main stakeholders.  
• Foster and drive the analytics and reporting culture in the whole organization.
• Support Strategic initiatives, as well as compliance initiatives within Corporate IT

Your profile:

• Technical or University Degree in Business Informatics, Business Management, Information Technology, or a similar field paired with a passion for data analytics.
• Professional experience working in a Data Engineering or Data Analyst role (+5 Years)
• Distinguished capabilities in ETL / ELT development and deployment of data processing pipelines 
• Hands-on experience with analytics solutions such as SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA Database, BusinessObjects Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, Looker, Data Services, BPC, embedded analytics, etc.
• Background in cloud technologies preferably Google Cloud and associated Cloud Services (BigQuery, BigQueryML, Dataflows, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer). Azure, AWS, and others would be an advantage.
• Ability to effectively explain the relevant analytics concepts and technologies with a strong passion in analysing business needs together with the various stakeholders. 
• You are experienced in agile project methodology and development – both IT internal as well as ambassador on the client side.
• Pragmatic, proactive, dynamic, open-minded, and independent personality. 
• Good communication with peers, technical teams, and business representatives. 
• Fluent English, advanced German language skills are an advantage.
