Area of work:
The server infrastructure of our trading systems and the support of the trading, clearing and risk applications is crucial for the sustainability of our Derivatives and Cash markets Eurex & Xetra. In your role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and verifying server infrastructure patching cycles and Asset Management. Furthermore, you will be coordinating all infrastructure changes, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to established procedures, focusing on communication and collaboration with various teams to schedule and execute changes effectively.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive patching process for all server infrastructure.
  • Coordination of our Infrastructure changes along the established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the internal patching and change procedures.
  • Ensuring the correctness and completeness of our Asset Management Configuration Items.
  • Communicate with all relevant teams to coordinate patching and change activities.
  • Documentation of all patching activities.
  • Provide regular reporting on patch and change management status.
  • Coordination of smaller infrastructure related projects.

Your Profile:
  • Education or degree in Administration, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Professional experience in administration, best in a mission critical environment.
  • Knowledge in design, documentation and implementation of processes.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, COBIT) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in an international team of engineers.
  • Self-motivated attitude and precise working style.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
