Regulatory Notifications Compliance Officer (f/m/d)

Your area of work:

You are working in our team of Compliance and Regulatory specialists in Group Compliance who are taking care of various topics related to the supervision of the companies of Deutsche Börse Group by various national and supranational supervisory bodies. Law & Regulation acts as oversight function in monitoring regulatory changes applicable to DBG while it also ensures compliance with dedicated regulatory requirements applicable to DBAG and its affiliated entities. You will be supporting our overarching target of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through maintaining regulatory repositories and ensure timely regulatory notifications to competent authorities.

You will act as first point of contact for various group entities and areas affected by changes in governance structures, assess those changes and prepare notifications and support business areas in managing the day-to-day fulfilment of currently applicable and newly arising regulatory obligations through maintenance of regulatory repositories. Further, you will govern the dialogue with different internal stakeholders and assure necessary reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer of Deutsche Börse Group.

In a dynamic environment with growing regulatory challenges as well as product and process innovations, you will be an essential support for business units in identifying relevant regulatory changes in time and initiating necessary implementations and adjustments in existing structures and processes. Moreover, you will track changes in DBAGs corporate structure as well as in the regulatory environment, identify interdependencies and increase awareness across our organisation. 

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for proactively maintaining regulatory repositories focusing on regulatory notifications, licences and communication with competent authorities
• You will be monitoring regulatory developments on international, EU and national level in the field of regulatory notifications and licensing with relevant implication for DBG group entities
• You will be in an on-going dialogue with various group entities and areas affected by changes in regulatory requirements, including local Compliance Functions of Deutsche Börse Group entities
• You will prepare management presentations, coordinate discussions and alignment meetings and identify potential inconsistencies as well as challenges to management and affected business areas
• You will identify room for potential improvements to increase efficiencies in processes relating to regulatory notifications and maintenance of regulatory repositories 
• You will provide assistance in interpreting and operationalizing regulatory requirement as well as advise and support potential implementation projects 

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in law, business administration or economics
• You have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in the field of compliance, internal audit or financial regulation 
• Strong writing, conceptual and methodological skills, ability to communicate positions in a clear and structured manner is self-evident for you
• You have the ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural and multi-location, international environment with high level of initiative, commitment and motivation
• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English is required
