Your area of work:
The IT Strategy/ Chief of Staff department is the central strategic and operational hub for the CIO/COO Division and supports the central governance processes including Board & Committees processes within the CIO/ COO Division. Our team ensures that decision-making is effective, efficient, and aligned across central corporate functions, subsidiaries, and market business segments. We orchestrate the key governance processes and act as the primary interface for communication with Deutsche Börse Group's most senior bodies, including Leadership Teams, Executive Board and Supervisory Board.
In your new position as Project Manager, IT Governance & Committee Management, you will be instrumental in supporting the IT Organization management. You will work closely with the Product Organization, Shared Services and Central Functions. In this high-visibility role, you will support the senior management in coordinating the entire process and procedures on all relevant governance topics to ensure seamless alignment across the organization.
Your responsibilities:
- Executive & Board Coordination: Serve as the central quality gatekeeper and coordinator for all CIO submissions to the DBAG Executive Committee and Supervisory Board, ensuring materials are of the highest standards.
- Technology Committee Reporting: Own, drive, and continuously improve the quarterly Business Update on technology for the Supervisory Board's Technology Committee, translating complex information into clear, executive-level insights.
- Leadership Committee Management: Orchestrate internal CIO leadership team committees by managing timelines, aligning strategic agendas, facilitating clear communication, and documenting key decisions and action items to ensure execution.
- Governance Process Ownership: Maintain and enhance all central CIO Governance procedures and processes to ensure efficiency, compliance and maintain alignment with corporate standards.
- Executive Engagement & Strategic Initiatives: Play a key role in strategic CIO initiatives by coordinating high-stakes executive engagements. This includes preparing onboarding sessions for new Supervisory Board members and organizing targeted IT training for the Supervisory Board and Executive Board.
Your profile:
- Education: An academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or in a related field of expertise
- Corporate Governance: Solid understanding and practical experience with corporate governance topics and processes, ideally within a complex, regulated environment.
- Executive Exposure: Proven experience in preparing materials for and communicating effectively at the senior management level.
- Languages: Business fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
- Executive Communication: You possess strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics with clarity and confidence to senior stakeholders.
- Structured & Meticulous Approach: You have a keen eye for detail and a highly structured, precise working style that ensures quality and accuracy.
