Field of activity

The Derivatives Trading Section operates and maintains the Eurex Trading System. This department offers extensive services for over 400 international exchange members, including services for the exchanges EEX, Eurex Bonds and KRX. As a Market Supervision Specialist, you will be responsible for operating the Eurex Options and Futures Trading platform in line with Exchange Policies and Procedures. In your new position, you will be responsible for supporting trading activity on the Eurex system. Along with the supervision of the trading day, you will also be responsible for professionally responding to the requests and inquiries of the international Eurex members, as well as product maintenance and emergency handling.



  • Service and assist the exchange members in all trading related questions/inquiries
  • Monitor trading activity on Eurex, including the opening and closing auctions
  • Monitor, research and analyse Underlying Reference Markets covered by Eurex Product Scope
  • Determine daily settlement prices as well as final settlement prices for Eurex Options and Futures products
  • Maintain Eurex Options and Futures products, especially in relation to setting up new products and processing corporate actions
  • Establish, review and maintain Eurex Business processes
  • Leading of internal projects and participation in ongoing external projects, such as system development, quality assurance and development of new markets


Qualifications/required skills

  • University degree, preferably in finance or comparable education and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in the financial industry.
  • Profound knowledge of cash and derivatives markets as well as knowledge of Eurex Options and Futures products
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office applications. Deeper know how in Excel and Access is of advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Creative and analytical problem solving as well as ability to work under pressure and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as high level of flexibility
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, German a plus
