International Tax Expert in Part-time (f/m/d)

Your area of work:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Expert to join our tax team at our Eschborn office. You will play a significant role in managing and optimizing our tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and supporting the financial well-being of the organization.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other relevant tax obligations
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax provisions, financial statements, and related disclosures for internal and external reporting purposes
  • Advisory Support: Provide tax guidance to various departments within the organization, assisting in decision-making processes and transactional matters
  • Tax Audits: Support coordination and management of tax audits and inquiries, collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary
  • Tax Research: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, assess their impact on the organization, and provide guidance accordingly
  • Compliance Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of internal tax compliance processes and controls, recommending improvements as needed
  • SAP: Determine VAT classifications as part of the new service process, including tax expert reviews required for technical ERP implementations (e.g., Sales and Distribution and Material Management in SAP/S4 HANA)

 

Your profile:

  • Completed university studies in economics or law or equivalent. Advanced degree or relevant tax certifications (e.g., CPA, Tax Advisor) preferred
  • Several years of tax-related experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or a tax advisory firm
  • Practical experience in managing international branches and subsidiaries as strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of international tax laws and regulations (focus countries IE, UK, and CZ)
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems (SAP ERP systems, preferably S4/Hana)
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively
