Intern/Student Assistant - Quality Management & Control (f/m/d)
Start:  | Duration: 3-6 with 39 hours per week (Internship) / 12 with 15-19 hours per week (Student Assistant) (in months) | Full-time 

Field of activity

The Clearing Delivery & Control section is responsible for the monitoring and control of operational business processes, the operating Change- and Quality Management and the centralized master data maintenance for the electronic clearing and trading systems of Eurex Clearing AG, FWB, Eurex (Eurex, Eurex Bonds, Eurex Repo ) as well as the connected trading platforms of the securities lending services under consideration of market-related regulations. As intern/student assistant in the Quality Management & Control Unit you have the excellent opportunity to connect the theory of the university with the practice and to gain deep insights into the clearing and settlement of financial derivatives and securities. You will be involved in the business processes and ongoing projects of the department and will be in contact with customers of Eurex Clearing AG and other departments within Group Deutsche Boerse.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Support of the daily business activities and ongoing projects of the Quality Management & Control Unit
  • Analysis of Policies and Procedures within Group Deutsche Boerse and current questions related to regulatory requirements
  • Drawing up statistical analysis and management presentations
  • Analysis of existing Business Processes and the creation of process flows and documentation material in German and English
  • Creation of databases
  • Maintenance of databases
  • Support in Budget-controlling and -planning within the Clearing Delivery & Control Section
  • Support in the preparation and follow-up activities linked to onsite Audits at Eurex Clearing Members
  • Active communication with other departments within Group Deutsche Boerse and with the customers of Eurex Clearing AG

 

Qualifications/required skills

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
  • Minimum of two successfully completed semesters of undergraduate studies
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
  • Competent handling of MS-Office applications (especially MS Access and VBA desirable)
  • Interested in capital and stock markets
  • High analytical skills combined with high organisational and communication skills and the ability to work in a team
