Intern/Student Assistant - HR Controlling (f/m/d)

Field of activity

As an Intern/Student Assistant in the field of Financial Accounting & Controlling, more precise in the team of HR Controlling, you get the excellent opportunity to experience in live the proceedings of a bourse and to gather valuable work experience in an innovative company.

The mission of the HR-Controlling is the staff cost and FTE planning as well as various analysis of Actual/Plan/Forecast data according to the requirement and objectives of DBG. HR Controlling is responsible for staff cost and FTE reports. Furthermore, the hiring controlling based on financials and the management of the position plan are some of our main tasks.



  • Support the team with generating reports for FTE and staff-costs
  • Support of the HR-Controllers during planning- and forecasting processes
  • Support the review and analysis of the monthly staff-costs
  • Support in non-recurring projects and special requests
  • Assistance in month- and quarterly closing processes
  • Support the management and maintenance of monthly budget shifts / running budget
  • Process analysis, identification of points for improvement and creation of a process manual


Qualifications/required skills

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
  • Minimum of two successfully completed semesters of undergraduate studies (preferably in economic studies with focus on accounting and controlling)
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English; additional German skills are plus
  • Competent handling of MS-Office applications (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; MS Access is a plus)
  • Basic knowledge in SAP R/3 and business warehouses are plus
  • Ability to take initiative, team-player who also can work independently, high motivation
  • Strong analytical skills, high affinity with numbers, organised and structured working manners, good communication skills
