As an intern / working student at Deutsche Boerse Group, you will have an excellent opportunity to experience live stock market activity and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. Post Trade IT is a provider for Clearstream owned by Deutsche Börse AG. It provides settlement and custody as well as other related services for securities across all asset classes. It is one of two European International Central Securities Depositories. During your internship, you will support the area Settlement & Issuance IT. 
One of the current initiatives involves the use of end-to-end automation solutions using several technologies and tools including Workflows, DLT & AI. As an intern in, you will be involved in development projects based on these technologies.

 

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • You will help implementing end-to-end automation solutions using BluePrism, Mendix, Automator and/or DLT (DAML) 
  • You will assist the work of squad members in a scrum team following the DevOps model
  • You will help with the development including the processes of testing (technical and integration tests), documentation and version management (Git, GitHub)
  • You will support requirements analysis, help with the design of technical architectures
  • You will participate in business acceptance testing as well as deploying and operating

 

Qualifications / Required skills

  • You are enrolled as an ordinary student at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of your employment (at least completed second semester, preferably in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or physics)
  • You have advanced experience in programming in at least one of the programming languages (Go, Perl, Python, Java, C)
  • Knowledge of working in agile / scrum teams and in using Jira, GitHub, Git is a plus
  • A  solid understanding of cloud services and/or Machine Learning is an asset
  • You are safe in handling of MS Office applications
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
