Your area of work:

As an intern (f/m/d) you will support the Risk Tools and Analytics team in the Group Risk Management department which is an elementary component of the management and control of Deutsche Börse Group. Risk Tools and Analytics team supports development and maintenance of group risk management systems, facilitates communication of the risk teams with Corporate IT, and enables efficient assessment and reporting of operational, financial and business risks of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG). You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support the 2nd line of defence control tasks
  • You will support reporting, data analysis and data visualisation tasks
  • You will support testing of group risk models
  • Furthermore, you will take care of administrative and organisational tasks

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields)
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of an internship or a working-student role in the financial sector
  • You are interested in risk management, statistics, data visualization, and performing complex analytical tasks
  • Thanks to your strong communication skills, you quickly find your way into a team. Besides working in a team, you have the ability to work independently and your analytical skills and your motivation help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
  • You have working knowledge and experience in SQL and MS Office (particularly MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point)
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
