Your area of work:
As an intern (f/m/d) you will support the Project & Portfolio Managment team within the Trading & Clearing Strategy / Chief of Staff department.
Trading & Clearing (T&C) is a division within Deutsche Börse Group and home of Xetra, Eurex, 360T as well es the European Energy Exchange. The Trading & Clearing Strategy section supports the development of the long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy from a division perspective. It maintains an ongoing business intelligence, manages organic and inorganic strategic projects, and acts as the interface to other areas within Deutsche Börse. The Project & Portfolio Management team serves as a Center of Excellence for Project Management and ensures overall alignment of the change portfolio with the business strategy.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in current strategic projects and gain insights into the project portfolio
  • You will support the team with preparation of presentations, status reporting, communication and decision documents for various boards and committees
  • You will assist with project tracking including the maintenance of milestone plan, work product matrix and budget view
  • You will execute administrative tasks such as organising meetings, coordinating stakeholder input and enhancing the team’s SharePoint sites 
  • You may contribute to the automation of workflows using Microsoft Power Platform apps and other AI tools 

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters (focus in the finance sector is of advantage)
  •  You are interested in financial markets and market infrastructure
  • You enjoy working independently, well-structured, and with attention to detail as part of a team in an international environment
  • You are focused on delivery and getting things done, with good organizational talent and communication skills
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English, ideally also in German
