As a central securities depository (CSD) headquartered in Frankfurt/Main, Clearstream Banking AG operates the post-trading business – i.e. issuance, settlement and custody – for German securities.

 

Your area of work
Within our Post Trade IT area we operate and develop the IT infrastructure, systems and applications of our post trading and issuance business. With our IT product teams, we are the business enabler for Clearstream and essentially for the whole Deutsche Börse Group’s post trading and issuance business.  The Central Post Trade IT Office enables all Post Trade IT Product and related Legal Entity managers to fully concentrate on their core competencies by leveraging on best practice approaches for financial, resource and strategic workforce management and execution in a highly regulated environment. 

As an intern - IT & Project Controlling (f/m/d) you will support the Plan and Control Team within the Central Post Trade IT Office.
Our Mission: enable, support and execute.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support to compile management reports 
  • You will assist in operational and day-to-day tasks (e.g. monitoring of cloud costs, consultancy costs)
  • You will support with project assignments
  • Futhermore, you will collaborate with the team on ad-hoc tasks and analysis and be involved in the forecast and planning process
  • You will support to set-up and enhance dashboards (Power BI)
  • You will help to ensure the documentation is up-to-date
     

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 3 semesters (study of business or economics, ideally with a focus on controlling)
  • You are able to work independently and have good communication skills 
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English. German and/or French are a strong asset
