Your area of work
The Chief ICT Risk Office (CISO) combines IT & IS Risk Management in the 2nd Line of Defense. The department’s mandate is to set the IT and IS (ICT) risk governance and framework, set the control objectives, control review methodology and risk assessment methodology, conduct independent risk assurance of 1st LoD IT and IS (ICT) controls, and independently monitor and report on the level of ICT risks as well as to drive transformation and collaboration.
As an intern (f/m/d) you will support the team in the CISO / ICT Risk Office primarily in helping 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist with analysis of ICT Risk relevant data and on reporting thereof in line with DORA and other regulatory requirements
  • You will gain insights in Google Cloud Platform and the technologies we use for analysis of data and reporting, including AI. You are expected to acquaint yourself with these technologies and use them during your day-to-day tasks leading to ICT Risk reporting to management
  • In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain insights in the Second Line of Defence role and how it affects the Deutsche Börse Group
  • IAlso you will support and cooperate with other unit members in Prague and Frankfurt on their tasks, so that you get a broader view on ICT Risk Management in general

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 4 semesters
    (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields).Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, an enrolment is not required
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of ICT Risk, Information Security or ICT in general (e.g. experience abroad, internships)
  • You are interested in ICT Risk Management, Information Security, data analysis and/or reporting
  • You have good communication skills, are able to work independently and come up with new solutions based on input information, technical constraints and expected end result.
  • You have good knowledge of data analysis, reporting and are knowledgeable or willing to learn how to use Google Cloud Platform to analyze data and report about them (e.g., via BigQuery, Looker, Power BI)
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
