Field of activity

Eurex Market Structure and Regulation is responsible for market structural and regulatory topics within Eurex. The team analyzes the behaviour of market participants, defines and dynamically develops market structures in close contact with customers, regulators and strategic partners. Market Structure and Regulation also monitors upcoming regulatory requirements for derivatives markets, formulates positionings for the regulatory process and coordinates responses to consultations. As an integral component of this complex of regulatory topics, the team also maintains the Eurex rulebooks in order to reflect new regulatory requirements in the rules, or to develop the rules proactively if those seem outdated. Eurex Market Structure and Regulation is further involved in the implementation of strategic initiatives and central projects within Eurex.



  • Administrative and organizational functions
  • Research and organization of competition and market analyses in derivatives markets
  • Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and documents for board decision-making


Qualifications/required skills

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
  • Students who will apply for an internship must have completed at least the first year of their university studies
  • Major field of study in the finance sector desirable
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications (in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Good organisational and communication skills, ability to work in a team
