Energy IT provides an infrastructure for energy and commodity markets offering four applications called “M7®”: M7 Trading (intraday trading of power and gas), M7 Auction (auction of CO2 emission certificates, loss energy auction), M7 Capacity (intraday cross border capacity management) and XBID. In addition, Energy IT operates the Energy Platform Services, a set of infrastructure, platform and managed services designed to host highly regulated applications for the commodities markets. In this environment you work in the Energy Security Office team responsible for the coordination and implementation of the security roadmap and the coordination of security topics with all related units and product owners.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct activities for the regular proceedings of Energy Security Office: Security risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing, business continuity management, etc…
  • Participate to security roadmap implementation and manage security projects within the section.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on all information security processes. Keep the process documentation updated on Confluence.
  • Align with product owners, product teams and scrum teams to analyse, define and deliver security controls to fulfil DBG standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Definition and implementation of security strategies and KPIs.
  • Support product teams in understanding of requirements from security standard and regulation (provide training, know how transfers).
  • Review of Guidelines, Technical Security Baselines, Processes and Procedures in line with DBG Policies and Standards and international standards of quality management. 
     

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • Experience with or knowledge of IT Security and Financial or Energy Market Regulations (e.g. ISO27001, BAIT, KRITIS).
  • Identify and translate IT security requirements – able to think ‘out of the box’ to consult in IT security matters and solve challenges.
  • Confident with strong communication, able to engage senior internal & external stakeholders.
  • Effective presentation skills – creating and delivery.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. German an advantage.
  • Competent handling of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Entrepreneurship, high level of energy, curiosity.
  • Analytical skills and interest to details.
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment.
