As a core pillar of the Group Security department, the Identity & Access Management Section is safeguarding corporate assets by ensuring that access to resources is granted exclusively to authorized individuals, at the appropriate times, and solely for legitimate business purposes. The section is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of all digital identities across the group, covering full-time employees, external contractors and automated system accounts. Additionally, the IAM Section establishes and governs systematic access certification processes, enabling system and data owners to perform regular audits and re-authorize user permissions, thereby maintaining continuous alignment with regulatory compliance and industry standards requirements.

 

Your area of work:

The Identity & Access Specialist supports the governance, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of Deutsche Börse Group's authorization concept and role management framework. In this role, you will contribute to the operation and further development of the Nexis authorization concept management platform and support the implementation of Identity Governance and Administration processes across the organization.

Working closely with business units, application owners, infrastructure teams, and IAM experts, you will gain valuable experience in authorization management, role governance, regulatory compliance, and process optimization within a highly regulated financial environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise in Identity & Access Management and Identity Governance.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the operation, governance, and continuous improvement of the Nexis authorization concept management platform
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of enterprise-wide authorization concepts, business roles, and role management processes
  • Assist in ensuring that authorization concepts, business roles, and access controls are designed, documented, and maintained in accordance with regulatory and internal governance requirements
  • Collaborate with business units, application owners, and infrastructure teams to support authorization management activities and access governance initiatives
  • Support the optimization of the Nexis platform, including process automation, user experience improvements, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Maintain governance-related documentation, procedures, process descriptions, controls, and written rules, ensuring they remain accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies within the Identity Governance and Administration landscape
  • Support Identity & Access Management related projects, testing activities, and implementation initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse authorization management processes and contribute to continuous service improvements
  • Build and expand knowledge of Identity Governance, authorization concepts, and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated environment

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Management and Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Security, or a comparable discipline
  • Initial professional experience, internships, or academic project experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Information Security, IT Governance, or related areas would be an advantage
  • Basic understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, role-based access control, authorization concepts, and access governance principles
  • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties, role lifecycle management, access controls, and regulatory compliance requirements is desirable
  • Exposure to access governance solutions such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Nexis, Omada, Saviynt, or comparable platforms would be an advantage
  • Understanding of Configuration Management Systems, enterprise infrastructure landscapes, and the relationships between applications, infrastructure assets, servers, databases, network zones, and other technology components is beneficial
  • Interest in governance processes, documentation standards, and the maintenance of audit-ready procedures and controls
  • Strong willingness to learn, develop expertise, and independently familiarize yourself with new technologies and business topics
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence technologies and their application to improve processes, efficiency, and user experience
  • Solid handling of MS Office applications
  • Proactive thinking and self-driven approach to solution development
  • Fluent in English; German would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience in test management would be an advantage
