Field of activity
Trading Operations is running the Eurex Market and is therefore responsible for stable and reliable delivery of trading services to customers. It ensures a fair and orderly trading environment on the Eurex Exchange and Eurex Repo. Within this role, Trading Operations performs the 24/5 day-to-day functional operations, among other activities, running customer helpdesks for functional questions, determination of settlement prices and controlling the Eurex Trading System T7. A selection of operational activities is also performed for other Deutsche Boerse Group marketplaces and cooperation partners.


  • Operational management of all daily 24/5 activities of the Units Derivatives Trading Operations, Derivatives Trading Control and Repo Trading Operations & Functional Design
  • Delivering first class services towards Eurex customers
  • Ensuring very high resilience in Emergency situations
  • Ensuring compliance to operational guidelines, procedures and policies especially focused on Tool usage and GDPR
  • Managing high operational efficiency combined with high quality service delivery
  • Ensuring a system and tool-landscape that allows for frictionless processing of tasks and data
  • Managing the interfaces of Trading Operations e.g. IT Operations, Clearing, Product Development
  • Ensuring the operability of processes in every system release
  • Ensuring smooth processing of Corporate Actions according to Eurex Rulebook 



Qualifications/required skills

  • Excellent people management skills
  • Proven leadership and networking capabilities
  • Very good analytical, problem solving and integrated thinking skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure and high availability, e.g. in emergency situations
  • Deep knowledge of Eurex operational processes, services and products
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German language skills will be an asset
