Functional Analyst - Trading (f/m/d)

Area of work:

The focus of Trading Functionality lies on tasks that require deep functional knowledge of Deutsche Börse Group’s trading platforms. Trading Functionality broadly covers the definition of the system requirements and system specifications – based on the business requirements – for the trading systems T7 for derivatives and cash markets and F7 for repo markets, as well as for P7 Eurex Theo Pricing System. The system requirements and functional specifications created by Trading Functionality serve as the basis for software development and testing. In addition, Trading Functionality creates and maintains functional documentation for the trading participants and for internal stakeholders.
 

Your responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements as basis for writing system requirements and specification documents.
• Create functional system requirement and specification documents as basis for the software development and testing of the trading and pricing systems.
• Close cooperation with the business experts as well as development and test teams to create high quality documents.
• Drive the resolution of functional issues and create and maintain functional documentations.
• Create internal and member documentation to support the introduction of new functionalities and / or releases.
   

Your profile:

• University degree in Economics, (Financial) Mathematics, Computer Science or any other quantitative discipline.
• Strong expertise for writing functional system requirements and functional specifications for IT systems.
• Strong expertise in Deutsche Börse Group’s Cash Market Trading Models on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
• Strong expertise on functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in driving solutions forward in close cooperation with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and lateral thinking.
• High degree of teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with fluency in German being an advantage.
   

Additionally, you need to be a team player, highly motivated, flexible and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
