Your area of work:
Lead and coordinate the implementation and rollout of the FinOps Target Operating Model, ensuring that processes, tools, and governance are successfully adopted across the organization.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the FinOps TOM implementation as a structured program/project.
- Coordinate workstreams (tooling, processes, governance, training) and track progress.
- Align with stakeholders from IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, and business units.
- Ensure FinOps processes (allocation, showback/chargeback, optimization workflow, budgeting/forecasting) are implemented and documented.
- Support selection and rollout of FinOps tools and integrations.
- Organize and track training, communication, and change management activities.
- Monitor implementation risks, issues, and dependencies; propose mitigations.
- Report status, milestones, and outcomes to FinOps leadership and governance bodies.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in IT project or program management, preferably in cloud, IT financial management, or digital transformation.
- Proven experience implementing governance frameworks and IT processes (e.g. ITSM, cloud governance, security, or architecture processes).
- Experience running cross-functional initiatives involving IT, Finance, Procurement, and Security.
- FinOps certification (e.g. FinOps Certified Practitioner) is a plus.
- Project management and/or cloud certifications (PMP/PRINCE2, Scrum, AWS/Azure/GCP fundamentals) are a plus.
- Strong project/program management and coordination skills.
- Solid PowerPoint skills (structured storylines, clear visuals, exec-ready).
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders and build consensus.
- Good communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
- Experience with cloud or FinOps initiatives is a strong plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or FinOps or cloud cost management tools is a plus.
