The Enterprise Architect reports to the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Digital Innovation and plays an important role in ensuring the alignment of Business and Technology Strategy, as well as acting as a change and transformation agent. As Enterprise Architect – Expert, you will play a key role in leading the definition of group-wide technology standards, managing a technology portfolio, designing group-wide end to end services, and fostering innovation by exploring and evaluating new technology trends.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) to take responsibility in an interesting and dynamic international environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and design of an enterprise technology catalog and technology management processes
- Create baseline and target enterprise architecture roadmap, identify and define strategy to close architecture and capability gaps, and lead the technical implementation of the architecture roadmap
- Align with Business, Architecture, Operations, Governance and Security subject matter experts to maintain and shape the future of the technology catalog
- Monitor key business performance indicators to ensure activities are aligned to business objectives, and lead the definition and control of appropriate metrics and provide appropriate guidance and support on architecture and engineering concerns to programmes and projects
- Assess industry, technology, and market trends early in the adoption lifecycle to determine their potential impact on the Enterprise
Your profile:
- Outstanding background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, AI, or a comparable discipline - or equivalent senior-level experience gained through complex platform development, enterprise architecture, or technology strategy consulting.
- Proven ability to shape and industrialise platform, architecture, and governance practices across large-scale, regulated, and internationally distributed organisations.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of modern cloud ecosystems and platform patterns, with substantial experience in at least one major hyperscaler such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Several years of senior professional experience designing, delivering, and steering highly scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing systems, combined with profound knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise software, data platforms, and services — ideally within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, influence senior decision makers, and translate complex architecture topics into clear business value. Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage
