Your area of work
As a dual student for Business Informatics, you will have the opportunity to connect your theoretical knowledge with practice at the interface between business and IT. You will not only gain a deeper insight into the IT departments of Deutsche Börse Group, but also into business areas. Experience the day-to-day running of the stock exchange at first hand and be a valued member of exciting projects.
You will work closely with colleagues from various teams and always have a contact person next to you. The theory and practice you learn will give you the best foundation for your future career.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will work in globally acting teams on challenging tasks and actively contribute to the success of your team and the company
  • You will learn the processes of structured software development in a technologically diverse company
  • You support the installation and configuration of complex IT systems
  • You will help with Linux and Windows administration as well as network administration, switching and routing
  • You will be involved in our cloud-based development of IT solutions
  • You will also be responsible for service, consulting and support as well as error analysis and troubleshooting

 

Your profile:

  • You are working towards or have already completed your A-Levels with good to very good grades
  • You are communicative, a team player, show initiative and are full of ideas
  • Your strengths also include independent and goal-oriented learning and working
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • You have a keen interest in IT topics, modern technologies and mathematical and technical tasks
