Field of activity

Pricing is an important strategic steering instrument for the revenues of Deutsche Börse Group and needs to be continuously monitored and further developed within the dynamically changing market environment. The Pricing & Data Analytics team is responsible for maintaining transaction fee and incentive models as well as the development and implementation of new fee measures in the areas of trading, clearing and technology for Eurex, the derivatives market of Deutsche Börse Group. In your role as Quantitative Analyst you significantly contribute to these responsibilities.



  • Find solutions for complex strategic problems by analysing large sets of financial data (e.g. transaction data, order book data)
  • Optimize existing transaction fees for listed derivatives such as incentives and rebates for dedicated member types
  • Develop new fee measures for newly listed products, services or functionalities
  • Simulate fee measures in a dedicated Oracle database environment
  • Prepare business specifications for the implementation of fee measures within all relevant IT systems
  • Prepare and present analysis results to senior management


Qualifications/required skills

  • M.Sc. degree or PhD in a quantitative field (mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science or comparable degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience required
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data analysis and visualization skills in Python or R
  • Sound experience in querying databases using SQL
  • High degree of commitment, motivation and reliability
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and/or German
