Resilience is the ability of an organization to foresee, prepare for, and adapt to disruption while maintaining continuous operations and safeguarding its people, assets, and reputation. As part of its resilience management, Deutsche Börse AG aims at further increasing the organization’s crisis management capabilities.
 
Your responsibilities:

  • Design processes, maintain standards, and implement a robust second line of defense organizational crisis management framework. This includes but is not limited to supporting the organization to increase its crisis readiness and crisis management capabilities by:
    • Preparing for high-consequence events that have the potential to seriously disrupt operations, damage reputations, and destroy shareholder value
    • Identifying and assessing risks that pose significant threats to the business
    • Preparing documented crisis plans and processes
    • Creating remediation activities resulting from tests of plans
    • Preparing for, responding to, and emerging stronger from any major crisis
    • Creating enterprise crisis programs
    • Crisis readiness using simulations and effective communication to stakeholders
    • Rapid response and recovery programs with a focus on pre-crisis preparation and post-crisis recovery  
  • Become a trusted advisor for Crisis Management topics: provide strategic guidance related to Crisis Management procedures and interdependencies
  • Stay informed about emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in crisis management and incident response

 
Your profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven, hands-on experience in crisis management, incident response, or emergency preparedness, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment
  • Clear understanding of second line of defense functions and the distinction from first-line operational roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, prioritize tasks, and develop strategic solutions
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks related to crisis management, such as ISO 22301 or ISO 22361
  • Good knowledge and/or previous experience on the following topics would be a plus: operational resilience; IT Infrastructure; IT & Cyber Security
  • Good knowledge of the operational risk profile and business model of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG)
  • Fluency in English (German would be desired)
  • Excellent analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
