Your area of work
The Strategy and Executive Office team acts as an internal strategy consultancy, advising senior leadership on key strategic opportunities, market developments, and competitive positioning. The team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Eurex strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of Deutsche Börse Group.
You will be deeply involved in high-impact projects that shape the future of Eurex. You will conduct in-depth analysis, support the management of strategic projects, and prepare decision-making documents for the Eurex Executive Board and other senior management committees.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to Strategic Projects: Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives related to market structure changes, competitive dynamics, regulatory shifts and inorganic growth opportunities
- Financial Modeling and Business Case Development: Develop and validate business cases and financial models to assess the viability of strategic opportunities
- Preparation of Senior Management Communication: Create compelling presentations for the Eurex Management Board, and other senior stakeholders, contributing to the internal and external dissemination of Eurex vision and strategic goals
- Project Management Support: Assist in the end-to-end management of Eurex strategic projects, including budget planning, status reporting, and coordination with various business areas and external partners
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the derivatives market, including competitor benchmarking and trend identification, to generate actionable insights
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with various teams across Eurex and Deutsche Börse Group to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategic initiatives
Your profile
- You hold a university degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field
- You have already gained 3-6 years of professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a related field within the financial services industry
- You have a strong understanding of capital markets, with a keen interest in the derivatives industry
- You demonstrate excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- You have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to senior audiences
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a proactive and results-oriented approach
- You also have a high level of commitment, motivation and a collaborative team spirit
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, prior experience with AI tools is a plus
- You communicate effectively in professional English, both verbally and in writing
