The Transformation & Change Management team is part of the CTO area and provides strategic advisory and program delivery support for Group-wide technology transformations. We partner with senior leadership to drive complex change, design future-ready operating models, and enable the organization to deliver on its strategic technology vision. We are a modern, forward-thinking team and are looking for a Consultant with a project management mindset-someone who combines strong execution skills with analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for driving transformation across teams and technologies.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage or support strategic transformation and change initiatives across Deutsche Börse Group, either as a project manager or in support of a senior program manager.
- Structure and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with program objectives and reporting quality standards.
- Set up and oversee project or program governance, including reporting standards and use of state-of-the-art project management tools (e.g., Jira dashboards).
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, and governance functions.
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and risk requirements.
- Identify interdependencies, manage risks and issues
- Prepare executive-level materials, including steering committee updates, management presentations, and board briefings.
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders at various hierarchical levels, supporting decision-making and clarity throughout the transformation journey.
- Take ownership of special assignments beyond dedicated stream scopes.
- Provide guidance to junior Project Managers and Project Management Officers (PMOs) and contribute to the continuous improvement of our PM governance framework, artefacts, and tools.
Your profile:
- University degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience), combined with relevant professional experience in project or program management.
- More than 5 years of experience in management consulting or internal transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Solid IT knowledge and understanding of technology environments, ideally combined with familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with audit, risk management, and regulatory programs in a financial services context, including banking regulation (EBA, MA Risk, BAIT, BaFin, CSSF), is a plus.
- Excellent command of PowerPoint and experience with AI-supported productivity tools.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively between technical experts and senior managers, ensuring alignment and shared understanding across all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
- Fluent in English; German skills are an advantage.
