Your area of work
The responsibilities of the Derivatives Clearing Design section at Eurex Clearing AG include designing, implementing, and maintaining clearing functionalities for both listed and Fixed Income OTC derivatives. It further ensures ECAG’s compliance with its global regulatory transaction reporting obligations. In order to align new functionalities with major clearing members and to support market wide trends and initiatives, Derivatives Clearing Design manages regular clearing committees for ETD and OTC Derivatives and contributes actively to several industry-wide working groups.
The OTC Clearing Design Unit is a highly collaborative unit, interfacing with multiple internal units, clearing members and third-party service providers. According to a Roadmap created with support from OTC Clearing Design, it is the responsibility of this unit to constantly improve Eurex Clearing’s Fixed Income OTC offering, in every aspect from regulatory compliance over reliability and resilience to the overall product and services suite.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain harmonized post-trade services for OTC derivatives
- Closely interact with Business Development teams, IT Development teams and connected trading platforms and systematically gather and validate their requirements
- Translate validated customer requirements into functional concepts and develop tailored solutions
- Closely interact with other related interfaces within Deutsche Börse Group
- Validation of clearing solution with selected members and/or trading venues
- Preparation and documentation of management decisions
Your profile
- University degree, preferably in business administration, economics and/or a comparable training
- First professional experience in the field of financial markets, ideally with background in clearing of OTC derivatives
- First experience with creation of functional concepts for listed derivatives clearing is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, an investigative mindset and an eye for potential improvements
- High commitment and motivation, distinct readiness to take on responsibility
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible and good at handling MS Office applications
