The Connectivity Products unit is part of the Derivatives Market Development section at Eurex and serves as a key interface between business units, external stakeholders, and network teams, providing support for a wide range of connectivity-related requirements and building out connectivity as a service offering. As Group Deutsche Börse’s (GDB) center of excellence for external connectivity, the team is responsible for managing member connectivity—overseeing governance and contractual frameworks—while also acting as the liaison between business and IT for non-member connectivity. Additionally, the team operates its own connectivity services, offering the proprietary Non-Member N7® and ExServes® product suites.
The Derivatives Market Development section is driving the evolution and advancement of the Eurex and Eurex Clearing, which is Deutsche Börse Group’s derivatives market and clearing house. In this role, the section promotes innovation and proactively addresses changes in regulations, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements. It covers the entire trading and clearing value chain and in this capacity shapes regulatory development initiatives, delivers connectivity as a product, pushes trading developments and drives clearing developments as well as Digital Innovations—key strategic tools that enhance Eurex’s competitiveness and appeal in a rapidly changing market environment.
- Contribute to, evaluate, and advance the strategic development of the N7® and ExServes® product suites
- Develop comprehensive business specifications to support the implementation of new connectivity offerings
- Coordinate the rollout of new connectivity solutions, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders
- Draft technical change requests and oversee their implementation for both internal and external clients
- Gain a thorough understanding of the connectivity portfolio, actively drive its growth, and ensure a systematic approach to technical implementation
- Engage directly with customers to identify their connectivity needs, assess opportunities for upselling, and support business development initiatives
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries related to Connectivity Services in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor the competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and contribute innovative ideas for new product development as well as participate in strategic projects within Group Deutsche Börse
- You have completed an university degree, ideally with a technical or engineering emphasis
- You have gained a minimum of two years’ professional experience in a network-related field, with a particular focus on connectivity
- You show strong customer orientation and a genuine passion for leveraging IT systems to deliver meaningful business results
- Your profile is further enhanced by your commitment, adaptability, team spirit, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- You have outstanding presentation abilities, including the skill to prepare and convey complex analyses to a range of audiences
- You show proficient use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as SAP software
- You have excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset
