Your area of work

The unit Connectivity Products is part of the Market Development & Pricing section of Eurex and acts as an interface between business units, external stakeholders, network teams and also provides support for various requirements in connectivity related matters. As Group Deutsche Börse’s (GDB) connectivity competence center for external connections, the team assumes the business responsibility for member connectivity (e.g. Governance and contractual framework), acts as interface between business and IT for non-member connectivity and hosts its own connectivity services with its own Non-Member N7® and ExServes® product suite. This includes connectivity services to non-DBG venues, PTP time signals, and router management.
The section Market Development & Pricing is responsible for the evolution and development of the Eurex marketplace, the derivatives market of Deutsche Börse Group. In this capacity it fosters innovation and addresses changes in regulation, competition as well as customer needs. Furthermore, it covers Pricing and Marker Making topics which are an important strategic steering instruments for the attractiveness and success of Eurex within a dynamically changing market environment. 
 

Your responsibilities

  • You will contribute to, assess and drive the strategic development of the N7® and ExServes® product suites
  • You will prepare business specifications for the implementation of new connectivity offerings and coordinate it in close cooperation with internal and external interfaces
  • Furthermore, you will create technical change requests and monitor the implementation of those requests for internal and external customers
  • You will understand and drive the connectivity portfolio, its development and systematic of the technical implementation
  • You will close customer interaction to understand the needs in a connectivity context, evaluate upsell as well as business development potential
  • You will also cover incoming customer inquiries regarding Connectivity Services, its maintenance and take over the operational handling
  • You will monitor competitive landscape to help identifying trends and to develop new idea and contribute to strategic projects within GDB

 

Your profile

  • You have a university degree, preferable with a technical or engineering focus
  • You have at least 2 years of working experience in a network-related area with connectivity focus 
  • You are committed, flexible, able to work in a team and your strong communication skills complete your profile
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to prepare and present complex analysis to different target audiences
  • You are experienced in MS office (Excel / Word/ PowerPoint) and SAP applications
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and German
