Your area of work:

Regulatory Operations provides project management office services for group-wide regulatory strategy projects and ensures internal coordination and knowledge-transfer through the management of committees and the quality control of various processes. In addition, it supports the external representation of Deutsche Börse Group's regulatory interests through communication efforts. 
The team is part of Group Regulatory Strategy (GRS) which monitors the regulatory and political environment of Deutsche Börse Group, constantly assesses regulatory developments and, based on these analyses, develops the positioning of the group and takes care of the corresponding political outreach.


Your responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating project offices in the political/regulatory sector
  • Organizing, planning, and minuting of internal meetings, ensuring timely delivery of working products such as invitations, distribution lists, agendas, and related work
  • Supporting in research, Analysis, and reporting on selected political/regulatory developments to support internal committees and projects
  • Following-up and monitoring of related political/regulatory news, including active monitoring of vacancies in external working groups and committees
  • Supporting in the application process to external working groups and committees and in the preparatory work related to this external representation, e.g., through ensuring that proper briefings are provided on time
  • Supporting in quality controls of internal processes through aligning documentation needs with daily work of colleagues and keeping overview-documents up to date
  • Supporting in preparing presentations of developed strategies and positions of Deutsche Börse Group regarding financial markets topic and general political issues
  • Implementation of the area’s communication strategy via different communication channels (possibly also new channels not used currently)


Your profile:

  • “Can do” approach to topics and high degree of initiative and assumption of responsibility
  • Team player, yet independent and structured work manner, with an eye on details
  • Preferably some experience in project and process management
  • Experience in management of committees/internal working groups including agenda-setting and minuting
  • Interest in regulatory and political developments
  • Quick grasp and analytical skills
  • Written and spoken German and English language working proficiency, profound knowledge of MS-Office programs, esp. Power Point
  • University degree in business, economics or social sciences would be an advantage
