Clearing and Risk IT is responsible for the development of the clearing house related IT strategy and monitoring of its implementation, focusing on efficient and state-of-the art IT implementation of Eurex Clearing design requirements for post-trade, collateral and risk management functions. We conduct Business Acceptance Tests, along with coordinating and monitoring all IT security matters. Additionally, we supervise and control outsourced IT development, testing, and operational activities. With teams located in Chicago, Frankfurt, and Prague, we collaborate globally to deliver reliable, efficient, and high-quality Information Technology services. This integrated structure creates a central hub of technical expertise, ensuring outstanding support.


Field of activity:

The Infrastructure Service Design & Support partners with Business Units and their project managers, providing guidance and support in the process of requesting a service and managing the implementation. Risks and dependencies are identified, mitigated and managed proactively, ensuring efficient and transparent IT delivery. This collaborative approach translates business requirements into technical and operational solutions across the CIO/COO division.

Your responsibilities:

  • In-depth support for Eurex Clearing FIXML/FpML (Messaging) and AMQP (Transport) protocol.
  • Support of all Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) offered by Eurex Clearing.
  • Responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of technical incidents while adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Touchpoint with other strategic projects - e.g. Cloud Transformation Program.
  • Contribution to project initiatives and process guidance such as Problem & Incident Management.
  • Direct communication with internal counterparties and external customers of Eurex Clearing AG.
  • Driving day-to-day prioritisation of work baskets regarding capabilities and availabilities.
  • Testing of new software releases and reviewing of functional and technical documentation as well as guidelines.
  • Adhere to rules and regulations for maintaining and executing penetration tests on time, within the regulatory and legal requirements, preventing severe audit findings to stay compliant.
  • Appropriate escalation management according to defined parameters.
  • Provide timely response, meeting all defined service level agreements and ensuring proper resolution to all reported issues.
  • Act as an ambassador to establish and promote a service quality mind-set and awareness throughout the organisation.
  • Being proficient with Deutsche Börse AG Trading & Clearing environments and applications, wide area connectivity and IT infrastructure at Deutsche Börse AG.
     

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer support role.
  • Team player with an analytical and growth mindset.
  • Highly motivated, organized individual with ability to be able to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to constantly learn and enhance individual skill sets.
  • Background in IT Security is beneficial.
  • Experience in the financial industry and familiarity with its basic principles is a plus.
