Intern - Business Development (f/m/d)

Field of Activity
As an intern - Business Development (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Business & Sales department significantly.
You will work with the team to develop a state-of-the-art solution for an industry-wide challenge posed by the new regulatory framework of the Central Security Depository Regulation (CSDR).
This means you will engage different key players in the market and help to build customized and efficient services.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • You will support the progress of new services and business requirements.
  • You will assist with the development and implementation of business strategies.
  • You will perform active communication with clients, service providers and other departments within Deutsche Börse Group.
  • You will analyse and prepare documentation and reporting for the executive management.
  • You will collaborate with the team to enhance business processes, the creation of client documentation in German and English.
  • You will gain interesting insights into the impacts of regulatory change implementation on financial markets.
     

 Qualifications/required skills

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student, and have completed at least 4 semesters
    (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields).
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of financial markets. 
  • You are fascinated by financial markets and new business development.
  • Thanks to your teamwork skills, you quickly find your way into our energetic team. 
  • Your ability to work independently and very good analytical skills helps you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
