Development Operations Engineer

Our software engineers engage in an array of fields, from latency-optimisation (nano-seconds) of our trading applications, to risk and margin calculator algorithms, expansion of data APIs on our digital business platform, and machine learning and natural language processing. The Product Development Lab provides solutions to internal and external customers based on modern software development principles. As member of the Product Development Lab you will take on responsibility for implementing, evolving and maintaining DevOps operations and processes. Your tasks responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain automated, highly available infrastructure and tooling
  • Build and constantly improve the CI/CD-pipeline / DevOps toolchain
  • Develop solutions and build the libraries and frameworks of microservices and APIs
  • Be part of a software development team
  • Stay up to date on technology and help improve processes and culture


Qualifications/required skills 

  • Experience with cloud providers (Azure, GCP or AWS)
  • Experience in developing CI/CD-pipelines
  • Experience with various CI/CD-tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Terraform …)
  • Experience with microservice deployments and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience in agile software development and respective tools such as Jira or Github
  • Programming knowledge (Golang, Python, Java etc.)
  • Beneficial: Background in system design, web infrastructure and scalable cloud systems are welcome
  • Beneficial: An interest or background in financial markets and risk management
