Your Area of Work

 

The mission of the Fund Registration Senior Officer is:

  • to acquire the basics of the fund registration requirements that will help to understand the challenges our clients are facing and where Kneip as a fund registration service provider can be of assistance;
  • to master the fundamental registration and registration maintenance activities that occur in the lifetime of an investment fund, which will enable the Senior Officer to strive for a high-level service delivery;
  • to have the ability to observe fund registration events/requests from our clients’ perspective and to act towards their best interest;
  • to ensure that client requests are treated within a timely manner.


Your Responsibilities

 

  • Home filing of KI(I)Ds in Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and the UK;
  • Host filing of KI(I)Ds in EEA countries + Switzerland to Swiss rep.;
  • Updating regulator metadata in Dataglide from the CSSF database;
  • Supporting other Kneip departments (i.e. IT with testing, figures for renewal, etc.);
  • Attending client calls, if needed;
  • Assist the Fund Registration Manager in fund registration activities in Europe, Asia and Latin America in accordance with our client’s instructions and regulatory requirements (UCITS and AIFM Directives);
  • Work together with the Fund Registration Manager to satisfy all ongoing regulatory reporting obligations, including prospectus updates, new product launches, KI(I)D dissemination and financial statement submissions - all to assure investors of the fund’s continued market authorisation;
  • Get familiar with the local rules and challenges related to the cross-border distribution of investment funds (UCITS and AIFs);
  • Help the Fund Registration Manager to ensure post-registration fund maintenance & ongoing reporting based on our client’s and local requirements to maintain their compliant status;
  • Contributing to the implementation and maintenance of a regulatory watch;
  • Participate to all assigned trainings;
  • Act and work in compliance with all internal rules and policies.

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, economics or business administration (other related certifications are a plus);
  • Have 1 year of experience in the investment fund industry (preferably fund registration);
  • Basic understanding of the fund industry and the legislative environment of UCITS and alternative investment funds;
  • Basic understanding of web technologies, digital solutions and/or automation technology.
