Our software engineers engage in an array of fields, from latency-optimization (nano-seconds) of our trading applications, to risk and margin calculator algorithms, expansion of data APIs on our digital business platform, and machine learning and natural language processing. We are building a new team which is end-to-end (Build, Run) responsible for Regulatory Reporting Hub. The team build the application from scratch with core functions in data ingest, data stream, data store, reporting & analytics, as well as core regulatory relevant functions and features.



  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve the full software stack of the application
  • Build native data processing / data flow features in a secure and testdriven manner
  • Leverage the DBG DevOps & CI/CD toolchain and document results and tests in Github and Cucumber
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle, methodology and toolset


Qualifications/required skills

  • Applicants with professional experience, and/or entry-level employees
  • BA or BSC in Science or Math or Computer Science, preference for MSc in Computer science, Math or Engineering
  • Background in system design, web infrastructure and scalable cloud systems
  • Deployment experience with at least one of the following cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Experience with the concepts of SOA, EOA, and 12 factor microservice design
  • Real world experience of agile development practices and methods, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DAD.
  • Programming competency: Go and React JS, Python, Open Source software; Java optional
  • Devops and deployment experience with GitHub, Terraform, Circle Ci / Intellij,
  • Full stack experience considered an advantage, however specialist knowledge in modern data modelling, data repositories, streaming frameworks, UI/UX also desirable.
  • Experience with crud, numerical recipes, mobile, cap theorem, MVC patterns, APIs, Oauth 2.0, chaos monkeys, etc
  • Desired experience with: Multithreading, TCP/IP and Middleware Technologies (FIX, AMQP)
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
