The Trading Key Account Manager is responsible for operational and customer relationship management across the Eurex Exchange, Clearing house and Clearing members. The understanding of multiple asset classes, trade workflows, regulations, products, and operational set-ups while building meaningful client relationships represent the essential fields of your activity. The Key Account Manager (f/m/d) acts as a functional consultant and interface between the member and internal Deutsche Börse Group departments, such as Business Development, Settlement and Compliance while handling daily issues, supporting member with their obligations and proactively managing internal and market driven changes.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You will be the first point of contact towards the clients for daily business related issues
  • You will build up a network of contacts within your client firms whilst maintaining and coordinating over all interfaces, realization of change processes
  • You will work on ad hoc queries, proactively check and inform clients about upcoming initiatives, keep them informed of new releases and changes and ensure their requirements are met on a regular basis
  • You will have a strong customer service ethos, focus on client satisfaction and be able to proactively solve client issues when they occur
  • Project Management is a large part of this role as you will support and coordinate complex changes, often involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

 

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your university degree, preferably in business administration, economics, finance
  • You have strong analytical skills and project management experience
  • You have the awareness and the ability to interpret information derived from client conversations in order identify opportunities and challenges will also be key
  • You are highly motivated and engaging, as well as willing to work in a team with excellent coordination skills
  • Furthermore, you have the ability to adapt and respond calmly to constant challenges and are able to effectively communicate in an international, multi-lingual environment with colleagues and customers at all levels 
  • Your organizational and time management skills are beneficial
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English, (German is a plus)
