IT Application Manager (f/m/d) Cloud Services in full- or part-time

Your tasks:

In your role you will manage the company's applications portfolio - ensuring optimal performance and uptime. You’ll oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications in a cloud hosting environment. In addition you will collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement effective application strategies to identify and resolve any application-related issues or bottlenecks. Further tasks are to monitor the application performance to ensure efficient operation and streamline processes where necessary. You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud hosting and application management. Furthermore, you’ll provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Your skills: 

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in the fields of Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar
  • Professional experience ideally as an Application Manager (f/m/d) or Application Support Manager (f/m/d)
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud hosting platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Services
  • Strong understanding of application deployment processes, including build, release, and automation
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication abilities in line with good language skills in English and German
