Your tasks
Then let's talk, because we are currently looking for an Expert Area Product Owner (f/m/d) for one of our central applications within European Commodity Clearing AG. You will take responsibility for the strategic and conceptual development of a clearing system. You will work closely with our specialist departments, be in contact with the development team and manage the product backlog. With your multi-annual experience as a Product Owner, you will help your team grow even more into agile working methods and live Scrum. In addition to the tasks of the Product Owner, you will also regularly take on operational activities in the work with the clearing system, so that you can deepen your knowledge of the functions and interfaces, which will give you an increasingly better understanding of the application in your role as a Product Owner. The goal is for you to be able to learn the processes not only superficially, but comprehensively. We see this as a real added value for you and the team.

You bring along

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• Several years of professional experience as a Product Owner, ideally in the environment of FinTech and/or banks/stock exchanges (certification desirable)
• Strong interest in the energy- and finance market and its developments for the future
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
