The Market Surveillance Office of EEX monitors exchange trading to ensure the adherence to our rules and regulations, as well as national and international law. As an Analyst in our Monitoring Team, you will:

• Analyse alerts and detect anomalies.
• Create reports and present your findings to the team.
• Fine tune existing alerts and create new ones.
• Analyse trading data with Python and SQL

In doing so, you will not only become a valued member of our team and a valued partner for our external stakeholders, but you will help to protect the integrity of the European wholesale energy markets.

Your skills:

• University degree or experience in the relevant field
• Comprehensive understanding of exchange trading
• Attention to detail and an exploratory and analytical mindset
• Experience in working with Python and SQL
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
