At the European Energy Exchange (EEX), our reception is more than a front desk – it is a central service hub, a security interface and the first impression of our organization. 
The EEX reception desk must be reliably staffed Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Ensuring continuous service coverage during these hours is a core responsibility of this role. We are looking for a Receptionist (m/f/d) who takes ownership of this role with professionalism, reliability and a strong service mindset.

Your tasks:

• In this position, you are a key part of our daily operations and contribute directly to smooth workflows and a positive experience for visitors and colleagues alike
• You provide a professional and welcoming reception for visitors, business partners and service providers
• You act as the central point of contact for incoming phone calls and enquiries
• You manage visitor registration in line with security, compliance and confidentiality requirements
• You handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services
• You work closely with the Facility Management & Physical Security teams
• You actively support the implementation of service and security standards in a regulated exchange environment

Your skills:

• Completed vocational training in a commercial, service-oriented or comparable field
• Experience in reception, front office or customer-facing roles is an advantage
• A strong service mindset combined with discretion and a high sense of responsibility
• Structured, reliable and independent way of working
• Confident and professional appearance, also in security-relevant situations
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
