Your task: 
In your role you will be responsible for leading the M&A unit of our Group Strategy team. With focus on driving inorganic growth of all our business segments, you are responsible to analyse, plan and execute selected M&A initiatives for various companies belonging to EEX Group. You will interact with our business leaders worldwide and work closely with the senior management of EEX Group and Deutsche Börse. As an experienced leader you will manage a team of M&A project managers, connect with the local start-up scene and liaise with our group-wide venture capital team. Your ideas and expertise will contribute to the successful development of our organisation and our business. You bring along:  

• University degree in law, economics, business or equivalent
• At least five years of experience in corporate finance or investment banking
• Experienced in leading all M&A processes including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, contract negotiation, management presentations and transaction closing
• Experienced in organizing and leading international M&A projects and interdisciplinary teams with a proven track record of transactions
• Excellent analytical skills, target-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English and German
