Your tasks:

The Group Strategy team supports the management board in setting the strategic direction for the EEX Group.

In your role, you support the team in devising strategic targets, proposing short-term priorities and in tracking our strategy implementation. On top of that, you take an active role in communicating strategic developments and achievements to both the management board as well as EEX Group colleagues. In your daily work, you monitor the competitive environment and aggregate and structure internal business information. You create crisp reports on important developments for the management boards of EEX AG and various committees. Furthermore, you are responsible for analysing market entry opportunities for new markets and for providing ad-hoc qualitative and/or quantitative analysis on market developments. Lastly, you will support the work of the sustainability committee, which supports our management in setting our internal ESG targets and in measuring our progress in this regard. In a small team of experts, we offer you the possibility to grow personally and professionally and to actively shape the strategic direction of the EEX Group, a global group of exchanges and centrepiece of the European energy market.

You bring along:

• A master’s degree in economics, engineering or equivalent education. An additional qualification in change management or business transformation is a plus
• Working experience in energy or finance is a plus, but we welcome top-class university graduates as well
• An autonomous way of working and intrinsic motivation for the job
• Analytical skills and rigorousness that allow you to thoroughly analyse, summarize and communicate complex topics
• A friendly and outgoing personality
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
