Senior Compliance Officer (f/m/d) IT

In your role as Senior Compliance Officer (f/m/d) IT in the Software Development area of ECC, you can use your talent in supporting and driving projects and topics with the goal to continuously improve our processes, our documentation and our overall compliance. You will constantly exchange with different stakeholders across our organization to stay up to date about regulations. The challenge is to build and enforce in a growing and agile organization.
Your tasks:
- Organize, track and and drive compliance related projects such as audits while tracking related efforts
- Support and steer knowledge management projects in close cooperation with the leadership team
- Define, implement and improve processes and process-related documentation in the Software development section of ECC/EEX to ensure efficient, compliant processes
- Support and lead internal and external projects, including contract and vendor management, in alignment with management needs and requirements
- Support internal and external communications to foster the identity and the image of the Software Development section

Your skills:
- Degree in economics, management or financial related area, combined with a strong and demonstrated interest in IT
- Previous working experience in an administrative or project role inside medium to large technology organizations
- Knowledge of the European/German regulatory environment as well as experience in understanding regulatory requirements and implementing those inside a technologically driven environment
- Ability to identify and leverage optimization potential inside a technology organization
- Expertise in project, contract and vendor management
- Experience in dealing with frameworks like ISO 27K, ITIL or Cobit is welcome
- Ideally compliance experience in a bank or an exchange
- Proficiency with processes and IT infrastructure on commodity exchanges would be a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgement
- Passion to organize, establish and optimize lean processes in a fast changing, complex environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in German and English are a must
