Risk Manager (f/m/d) - Enterprise Risk Management - 2nd Line of Defense

Our Team:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team belongs to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO)-section and is part of the Enterprise Risk & Outsourcing Management department. The team is responsible for central tasks in risk management and risk controlling. Our focus is on risks that are not covered by the collateral provided by our Clearing Members, the so-called default waterfall in accordance with our central regulatory basis, the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). We called it the uncovered risk area. Here, ERM manages the risks classified as material, such as Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Market Risk, as well as Business Risk and Liquidity Risk. We are responsible for large parts of the regulatory reporting and act as a 2nd Line of Defense for the credit risk-based admission process and ongoing monitoring of our Clearing Members and other counterparties.
Your Tasks:
We are looking for a Risk Manager - Enterprise Risk Management for our team. You will support your team in the questions of risk management and controlling at ECC AG. In this role, you will work professionally and operationally in one of our central pillars, Regulatory Reporting, Economic Risk Management and Group Risk Management. You will be involved in the relevant regulatory issues in your area and work on their further development. Your tasks include the following points:
- Processing of regulatory and statistical reporting in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. EMIR, Außenwirtschaftsverordnung).
- Preparation of necessary reports to foreign authorities (Singapore, Switzerland).
- Participation in the economic risk-bearing capacity and thus in the risk quantification of major types of risk, including the stress test analysis.
- Contribution to ECC's recovery and resolution plan in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Preparation of various risk reports (e.g. to the Management Board, the Supervisory Board or our Risk Committee).
Together with the assigned team members of the ERM team, you will design the topics and accompany the operational processes and support the Fixed Written Rules.

Your skills:
- Completed studies in business administration/economics, economics, physics or mathematics, alternatively a completed apprenticeship in the field of banking with further relevant training
- Initial professional experience in a comparable position from a banking or consulting firm or auditing company as well as experience in dealing with supervisory authorities
- Experience with banking regulation or CCP regulation
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- A structured working style as well as high reliability and conscientiousness
