Your tasks:

Your responsibility is to drive innovations by

• analysing our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements, deriving, and implementing new features.
• supporting our business departments in the creation of requirements and translating these into software designs to evolve the value added to our business.
• designing the best target solutions by applying state-of-the-art technologies and security tools.
• ensuring the compliance to internal and external standards, procedures, and best practices.
• helping us to set up a Big Data Platform

Of course, you are not on your own doing all of that. There is a growing community of software developers and architects at ECC, and we all appreciate the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better. We call it: the exchange mindset.

You bring along:

• Several years of proven experience as Software Developer and/or Software Architect 
• Experience in Data Technologies in general and especially in Data Warehousing
• Know-how and experience with Big Data, Data Lake and cloud technologies are desirable
• Experience of working in a banking and/or commodity environment is appreciated
• Experience of agile/scrum-based working 
• Business English and German at intermediate level is appreciated
