Your tasks:
Our colleagues from the business departments who are in contact with our customers take care of 1st-level support when problems occur. If they can't find a solution to the problems in the applications, they forward tickets to the 2nd-level support team and describe the problems. Now it's up to you to solve the problems together with your team. If necessary, you can always contact your colleagues in the business departments, because our goal is to find  solutions quickly. In addition to the daily support tasks, you will be responsible for the major releases of our applications twice a year, as well as coordinating a synchronized patching approach for our infrastructure within the IT System operations team.. In the future, we will increasingly switch to the DevOps method, so that the continues integration will be pushed. Beside these support tasks, you will be able work on projects and advance the whole team. After all, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better. We call it: the exchange mindset.

You bring along:

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Deep and experience in 2nd Level support of applications (java based) within a Linux based IT environment
• Deep knowledge of software distribution tools is a plus (Jenkins, Ansible) and knowledge of Github for source code and user guidelines’ documentation
• Good knowledge of project management and ITIL (v3 or higher) processes
• Align with business and regulatory requirements to ensure a stable solution, and provide operations support
• Provide stakeholder assistance throughout Service-/Product Lifecycle to avoid/resolve service performance and technical issues
• SLA-based Service Monitoring and Controlling including continuous improvement in shared areas and user communication
• Good knowledge of Testing Strategies and processes, covering requirements’ tracking, test analysis and quality assurance
• Knowledge for databases (MySQL / Oracle) is a plus
