(Senior) Quantitative Analyst (f/m/d) - limited 12 months

For a temporary position, initially limited to 12 months, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team of risk experts. You will be responsible for analyzing and processing data to better understand the risk of ECC’s markets and identify relevant risk drivers. Additionally, the role involves optimizing processes and developing and enhancing our reporting infrastructure and risk models as well as leveraging data science techniques to drive insights and innovation
Your tasks:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making processes and understand market risks
- Identify and analyze risk drivers to enhance risk management models
- Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models
- Enhance and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Optimize business processes through data-driven insights
- Apply data science techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quantitative analysis and data science

Your skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data processing, process optimization, or model development
- Proficiency in BI tools, statistical software and programming languages such as PowerBI, Python, R, or SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
