Your tasks: 

In your role you will manage the company's applications portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and uptime and oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications in a cloud hosting environment. In addition you will collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement effective application strategies to identify and resolve any application-related issues or bottlenecks. Further tasks are to monitor the application performance to ensure efficient operation and streamline processes where necessary, stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud hosting and application management, and provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Your skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) 
• Proven experience as an Application Manager, Application Support Manager or similar role 
• In-depth knowledge of cloud hosting platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google cloud services 
• Strong understanding of application deployment processes, including build, release and automation 
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Effective communication abilities
