Your tasks:
In our team, you ensure the further development of our primary software solution for the financial settlement of energy and commodity trades. You process transaction data from the exchanges in the front and back end, create and operate interfaces to our own and external systems via messaging (ESB) or web services and create reports for various stakeholders.

You take a domain-driven approach and work closely with the specialist departments to understand their needs and develop efficient software solutions for them.

You will be involved in the planning and design of the functions, and you will define and discuss software components and interfaces, write concepts and plan and evaluate work packages.

You will use public clouds and OpenShift for containerization, among other things. You work in an agile (SCRUM approach), growing team either in the office high above the rooftops of Leipzig or remotely from home.

Your skills:

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or training as an IT specialist
• You bring along very good knowledge of programming with Java and a background in full stack software development with hands-on experience
• You have proven professional experience in designing architectures
• Domain-driven design and cutting microservices are part of your knowledge base
• You can write clear concepts and know the necessary standards (e.g. UML, C4 or ArchiMate)
• Ideally, you will add experience with Spring/Spring Boot, containerization via Docker and/or the use of DevOps tools such as Jenkins
• You have a willingness to learn and apply new/ different technologies
• You can communicate excellently in English and German
• You have very good team skills, but also the will to leave "your footprint" in the team
