IBM MQ Administrator - 2nd level (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• The PTIT Operations & Governance department is mainly responsible for the provisioning of monitoring and support services to the Core IT Operations applications.
• The PaaS Middleware team ensures that MQ systems (Linux, z/OS, Cloud environments) and services are fully operational and being utilized effectively and efficiently.

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through business experience)
• 4+ years of experience with Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) systems
• 2+ years of experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes or ECS
• Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python)
• Basic knowledge of IBM MQ and willingness to learn
• Problem troubleshooting and solving ability
• Ability and willingness to work on an on-call rotating schedule
• Ability to network and partner with business applications and technical teams
• Team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Would be an advantage:

• KAFKA knowledge
• Go language knowledge
• Knowledge of technology: OpenShift, Azure, GCP, Github, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Kibana
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus / Grafana
• Experience with z/OS systems
