As Head of Strategy & Transformation you will work closely with Clearstream´s senior management team significantly contributing to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. You will be responsible for the development and execution of key strategic initiatives contributing towards further establishing Deutsche Börse Group as a top company.

 

Your responsibilities

 

As Head of Strategy & Transformation you will be responsible for owning the business strategy of Clearstream Securities Services. You will lead the development and execution of Clearstream´s strategic plan, making sure it is aligned with broader Deutsche Börse Group objectives and targets. You will also be responsible in driving transformational initiatives aiming at growing the business, enhancing operational efficiency and overall organizational effectiveness. In addition, you will manage and develop a team fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability.

 

 Examples for tasks/responsibilities

 

  • Conduct market analyses and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities for strategic growth
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop/refine the business´ strategic priorities and long-term objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of key strategic initiatives, such as digital transformation projects, product launches, market expansions, etc.
  • Oversee the development of business cases and financial models to evaluate and measure the financial impact of investments
  • Drive organizational change by supporting senior management in facilitating workshops, town halls and leadership events to communicate the vision and objectives of the business
  • Monitor and track the progress of strategic projects (incl. risk/roadblock identification and mitigation)
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and knowledge sharing amongst team members
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and success of strategic objectives
  • Lead the coaching and professional development of team members

 

 

Your profile

 

  • Completed your university degree at a leading university (Bachelor and Master)
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, transformation, and change management within the banking or financial services industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a top-level management consultancy, demonstrating a track record of delivering strategic solutions to complex business challenges
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends and develop actionable insights to drive decision-making
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Extensive experience in project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources and manage timelines and budgets effectively
  • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
